WHO WE ARE
KUNZVI HORTICULTURE PARK is a (Pvt) Limited company with shareholders.
This project is multi-faceted and structured for phased implementation. It’s core essence is to create a pathway to markets for farmers. The project aims to supply top quality, ethically sourced and sustainably farmed vegetables that meet all export quality expectations of regional and international markets. These high value edible and especially perishable horticultural crops are pre-marketed on supply contracts before production.
OUR MISSION
KHP’s mission is to provide a sustainable pathway to regional and international markets for local farmers. We also aim to develop subsistence and small holder farmers into commercially viable businesses with an off take into our packing house.

John Mapondera
Executive Chairman
Farmer and Businessman. Owner of Plot 2 Strathlone Farm.
One of the first Zimbabwean farmers to grow roses for export to the European and United Kingdom markets and did it for over ten years and is therefore passionate about horticulture His business experience has spanned various sectors including the Construction Industry, the Automotive Industry, Food Industry including the export of Beef to Europe and North Africa. Takes initiatives and is a born leader and will not hesitate to follow his intuition which can be critical in operating in the Zimbabwe market.

Full of energy and will not turn his back on any task before he has given it all that is possible. Success driven, motivated and ready to meet challenges and finding creative solutions.
The Kunzvi Horticulture Park and Out Grower project will offer an opportunity for the Involvement of Small-Scale Farmers in this export driven initiative.

Graduate of Industrial Administration of the University of Bath in the UK, Ethnography and Anthropology University College London and a Graduate of Sociology of the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Christiaan Botha
Partner and Interim Chief Executive Officer
A Business Development professional with over 20 years' experience in Agri commodity trading, Agribusiness setup and Management.
In recent years he set up and managed successful agri-based value addition businesses in Zimbabwe with resounding results.
Continues to partner and direct the current agricultural production programme on Strathlorne Farm.

Tendayi Mapondera
Project and Operations Manager
A project management professional with experience in Australia and Zimbabwe, having worked in the web development, property development, commodity trading and agriculture.
He was project manager on a tobacco farm contracted to a Zimbwabwe Tobacco Company as well as being a Project Manager on a Mixed cropping farm. Operations Manager at one of Zimbabwe’s largest property development companies Pinnacle Property Holding (Pvt) ltd.
Holds a Master’s Degree in Management information Systems from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia with a specific focus on Project Management

Darlington Chabata
Finance and Administration Manager
Finance and Administration Expert with 12Years’ experience in the position of Finance and Administration Manager. Provides financial guidance and leadership to the company’s directors.
Extensive knowledge in Finance which includes summarizing the company’s financial status and coordinating the preparation of tactical plans, financial forecasts, and budgets.
A holder of a Master in Business Administration Degree from the National University of Science (Zimbabwe).
Cutting edge greenhouse technology from Israeli technology and engineering company, Integrun, a well-known and vastly experienced team in running large scale controlled agriculture projects around the world, ensures solutions for issues of “Good Agriculture Practice” (GAP, Global GAP, Viet GAP), “Product Safety” and “Product Quality” for “Export Oriented Production”.
